The ASE Library participates since 2009 in the elaboration of collective catalogs by the National Library of Romania: Catalogul Cărților Străine Intrate în Bibliotecile din România (the Catalog of Foreign Books Entered in Romanian Libraries) and Repertoriul Periodicelor Străine Intrate în Bibliotecile din România (the Repertory of Foreign Periodicals Entered in Romanian Libraries).

Collaboration agreement for Catalogul cărților străine intrate în bibliotecile din România (the catalog of foreign books entered in Romanian libraries)

  • The catalog contains bibliographic descriptions and the location of foreign book collections from all fields of knowledge, held by approximately 150 info-documentary structures in Romania, including the ASE Library (code B-ASE).

  • The catalog, structured on domains according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC), is completed by an alphabetical index of names and an alphabetical index of titles.

  • Bibliographic descriptions are made in accordance with international standards in the field (ISBD, UDC)

  • The catalog is available free of charge, both in the form of an annual periodical publication – in pdf format, and in the form of bibliographic records – in the National Library database (accessible online), but also in the bibliographic database of ASE Library, available at http://opac.biblioteca.ase.ro/opac

  • It includes bibliographic descriptions and the location of foreign serial publications on paper and electronically, from all disciplines, held by info-documentary structures in Romania, including the ASE Library (code B-ASE).

  • Bibliographic descriptions are made in accordance with international standards in the field (ISBD, UDC).
