Over 20% of the information published globally in the fields of exact sciences and humanities, technology and medicine is published on the Elsevier ScienceDirect platform. It is a very important academic information resource today and includes journals published by the Elsevier editorial group (groups the publishers: Elsevier, Churchill Livingstone, Saunders, Mosby, Cell Press, Pergamon, Butterworth-Heinemann, Academic Press, The Lancet, JAI Press, North Holland, Masson).

The Emerald Publishing Group platform provides full-text access to foreign scientific research journals in electronic format. The aim of the Emerald publishing house (one of the most important economic literature publishing houses in the world) is to reduce the distance between academic research and daily practice in economics. In addition to the topics from various specializations in the economic field: management, marketing, finance-banking, human resources, business, etc., important topics in research and education are addressed: Educational management, Library management, Research and innovation management.

Emerald Management Electronic Journals EMeJ 175 is the largest and most comprehensive collection of peer-reviewed management journals in the world and proposes a new approach to the use of electronic resources for documentation. Thus, in addition to the collection of journals, a series of personalized extra resources are offered for: librarians, deans, teachers, researchers, students, etc.

Scopus is an electronic bibliographic and bibliometric database, comprising scientific journals.

It provides access to abstracts of articles from over 18500 international academic journals published by more than 5000 publishers. It uses the Hirsch index as an evaluation tool, which allows the evaluation of authors and academic institutions based on the ratio between published articles and the number of citations received.

Derwent Innovations Index is a bibliographic and bibliometric database, comprising scientific patents, available on the Web of Knowledge platform. It contains data on approximately 18 million patents and inventions registered in 41 countries, including Romania, from 1963 to the present.

Journal Citation Reports is a bibliographic and bibliometric database, comprising scientific journals, available on the online platform Web of Knowledge. It provides quantifiable statistical data that allow the assessment of the impact of journals on the scientific community. This database contains only ISI-rated journals. The database does not provide summaries of articles, but only the complete list of ISI-listed journals and statistical data on citation dynamics.

Journal Citation Reports is structured according to the area of covered topics, as follows:

• JCR Science Edition – over 8,900 journals
• JCR Social Sciences Edition – over 3,300 journals

It covers over 11,800 journals from 2552 publishers in 84 countries around the world, in approximately 240 disciplines.

Clarivate Analytics provides information on the scientific recognition of articles, but also the identification of new trends and technologies worldwide.

Web of Science is a bibliographic and bibliometric database in electronic format, comprising scientific journals. Available on the Web of Knowledge platform, it provides access to abstracts of articles from over 12,000 scientific journals and 160,000 scientific conferences from 256 disciplines.

Web of Science is structured according to the area of ​​topics covered as follows:

• Science Citation Index Expanded™ – Fully indexes over 9,000 major journals in the exact sciences in approximately 170 disciplines;
• Social Sciences Citation Index® – Fully indexes over 3,120 journals from 55 social science disciplines, as well as 3,500 technical journals;
• Arts & Humanities Citation Index® – Fully indexes over 1,800 journals of art and humanities, as well as articles from 6,000 journals in the social sciences;
• Conference Proceedings Citation Index: – Contains over 180,000 journals published in scientific conferences. It is divided into two editions: Science; Social Science and Humanities;
• Books Citation Index: Index over 90,000 selected books from 2005 to date, with over 10,000 new books added annually

The ProQuest Central platform provides access to full text and abstracts of scientific research journals in electronic format, from prestigious academic publishers, university publishers, academic associations, professional associations around the world.

Totaling over 21,830 periodicals, dissertations, newspapers, reports, documents, videos, ProQuest Central is one of the largest sources of online full-text encyclopedic documentation. 27 of the most popular ProQuest databases are available on a single online platform covering over 160 areas, including business, science and technology, medicine and health, literature, society and culture, art, history, religion, computers, education.

JSTOR is the most appreciated and trusted database with academic content.

The ASE library provides access to specialized scientific content, full-text or abstracts, from the Business Collections I & IV.

Business Collections III & IV platform can be accessed  from outside the campus using the Remote Access service (for account creation: http://www.e-nformation.ro/join-us). The Remote Access account already created for the ANELIS PLUS resources provided by E-nformation is also valid for the JSTOR platform.

The Business I – IV collections contain publications from the following core economics fields: economics, management, finance, economic relations, accounting, management, marketing, public administration, economic relations, economic history, business.

Central and Eastern European Online Library (CEEOL) is a database of scientific resources (journals, books, conferences) recognized nationally, regionally, but also internationally.

The CEEOL contains fully indexed documents in the field of humanities and social sciences from Central and Eastern Europe. The collections include mother tongue sources from and about the humanities and social sciences in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe in the form of articles in academic journals, e-books and gray literature.

Areas covered by CEEOL: political science and social sciences, economics, culture and society, law, history, fine arts, literature, linguistics, anthropology, philosophy, religion, etc.

The CEEOL platform contains about 2,250 titles of SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) journals from 34 countries, with 690,000 articles published in over 30 languages. About 30% of the included articles are published in English / German / French.

The number of journals in Romania amounts to 492 titles with over 120,000 articles indexed in CEEOL, including journals published by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

The CEEOL platform can be accessed from the Intranet, but also from the Internet using the Remote Access service (for account creation access: http://www.e-nformation.ro/join-us). The Remote Access account already created for the ANELIS PLUS resources provided by E-nformation is also valid for the CEEOL platform.
