Remote Access service
The Bucharest University of Economic Studies benefits from access to databases with scientific publications in full-text format, bibliographic and bibliometric databases: Science Direct, ProQuest, Emerald, Scopus, Clarivate Analytics. They can be accessed from the ASE Intranet (institutional IP) and from the Internet through the Remote Access service.

Over 20% of the information published globally in the fields of exact sciences and humanities, technology and medicine is published on the Elsevier ScienceDirect platform. It is a very important academic information resource today and includes journals published by the Elsevier editorial group (groups the publishers: Elsevier, Churchill Livingstone, Saunders, Mosby, Cell Press, Pergamon, Butterworth-Heinemann, Academic Press, The Lancet, JAI Press, North Holland, Masson).

Scopus is an electronic bibliographic and bibliometric database, comprising scientific journals.
It provides access to abstracts of articles from over 18500 international academic journals published by more than 5000 publishers. It uses the Hirsch index as an evaluation tool, which allows the evaluation of authors and academic institutions based on the ratio between published articles and the number of citations received.

Derwent Innovations Index is a bibliographic and bibliometric database, comprising scientific patents, available on the Web of Knowledge platform. It contains data on approximately 18 million patents and inventions registered in 41 countries, including Romania, from 1963 to the present.

Journal Citation Reports is a bibliographic and bibliometric database, comprising scientific journals, available on the online platform Web of Knowledge. It provides quantifiable statistical data that allow the assessment of the impact of journals on the scientific community. This database contains only ISI-rated journals. The database does not provide summaries of articles, but only the complete list of ISI-listed journals and statistical data on citation dynamics.

The CEEOL contains fully indexed documents in the field of humanities and social sciences from Central and Eastern Europe. The collections include mother tongue sources from and about the humanities and social sciences in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe in the form of articles in academic journals, e-books and gray literature.
Areas covered by CEEOL: political science and social sciences, economics, culture and society, law, history, fine arts, literature, linguistics, anthropology, philosophy, religion, etc.
The CEEOL platform contains about 2,250 titles of SSH (Social Sciences and Humanities) journals from 34 countries, with 690,000 articles published in over 30 languages. About 30% of the included articles are published in English / German / French.
The number of journals in Romania amounts to 492 titles with over 120,000 articles indexed in CEEOL, including journals published by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.
